The first press conference of Jigi Jigi International Festival of Performing Arts in Pardis Theatre Mosraqel

The first press conference of 1st Jigi Jigi International Festival of Performing Arts was held on Monday, 29 JAN 2018 in Pardis Theatre Mostaqel. Some Journalists from ISNA News Agency, Fars News Agency, Shabestan News Agency, Khorasan Razavi TV, Qods Newspaper, Payam Velayat Weekly. ...attended this conference . In addition to describing different parts of the festival, Mohammad Boroumand as the festival secretary, answered the journalists' questions. The playwright of children and teenagers, Hamid Ghaleei was in this conference too. 

As Boroumand said, the first part of the festival will begin with reading 8 plays of Davood Kianian and Hamid Ghaleei. This program, untitled Saturdays of Reading will start from February 10, 2018 and will be continued until April 14, 2018. Pardis Theatre Mostaqel will welcome persons who are interested in this program every Saturday At 06pm. Other parts of the festival include performing theater by international groups, performing theater by Iranian groups, performing theater  by children and young adults of Mashhad, international play writing competition and puppet making and puppetry workshops.

As the International Relations Manager of Simorgh Company and Jigi Jigi Festival, Maryam Khoshdel said that some groups from Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, etc have submitted until now. 

March 10, 2018 is the application deadline.

Mohammad Boroumand added that since February 26, 2018 Simorgh Company will perform The Last Leaf and All my Friends in Pardis Theatre Mostaql.

This conference was ended by giving journalists the book of The Musician of Love, a book about Jigi Jigi's life.

Enunciating this news Mohammad Boroumand, as the festival secretary, said that this festival will be hold under the motto of development of intercultural relationships based on world peace and friendship and its basis is making children happy and connecting people all around the world using performing arts. He added that festival includes five parts,Performing solo puppet shows by international artists, Performing solo puppet shows by national artists, Performing solo puppet shows by children and young adults of Mashhad, International Playwriting Competition for children or teenagers group, Puppet making and puppetry Workshops and application deadline is March 20, 20
